On Monday night DJ dislocated his knee playing football. YAY! The trip to the childrens hospital wasn't so bad. The staff were all excited because at least he wasn't another kid with the flu. We got in and out relatively fast, so no complaints. DJ was given Ketamine for sedation to pop the knee back in. Lets just say he was "tripping balls", his own words, when he was waking up. I never laughed so hard in my life and should have video taped him. Since then he's a complete nightmare. At 16 you would think he would be able to keep himself occupied but no he can't (unless he's playing WOW he's complaining). He's bored. He's can't get around on his crutches very well. He's uncomfortable. I don't mind waiting on him hand and foot, he doesn't ask for much so it's not that bad. It's the sad face that I can't handle. He has a full on neck beard, so his pouting makes me want to laugh. 6-8 weeks of him like this will not be fun................... at all.
Owen. I love this child. He licks things. Today it's the window sill in the living room. Enough said.
